ENGLISH BY MY OWN. Tip #1. Some strategies you can apply to improve your English skills are watching your favorite movie in English and repeating the dialogues after your favorite characters. You can also listen to tv programs, series, documentaries, videos, tv programs, conferences, news articles, reports, among others in English and make an effort to understand some words. Full your ears with English words. The use of subtitles is useful too. The idea is that you relate pronunciation to what you see in subtitles (word and pronunciation), to relate what people say to what or how they act.
ENGLISH BY MY OWN. Tip #2: If you are in an Elementary School or Kinder Garten level you can seize the resources that UNOi has for you. One of these ones is the digital reading in english platform provided by MyON. In this platform you´ll find more than 5,000 reading titles of different generes: drama, terror, adventure, tales, among others. Althought you have some activities in class remember you have the platform opened 24/7 to read whenever. If your are parents or students in other level we can tell you how to access, just ask the english coordinator at School.
ENGLISH BY MY OWN. Tip 3: You can help your children by sticking some papers with the names of the things that belong to the house, they can be the bathroom, the living room, their own room, etc. It could be better if you write on the papers the actions the can do with the objects they see. For example, if they are in the playground, there must be a label with the name "playground" and the actions could be: "jump with a rope", "Play with the dog" or "wash the car", an easy way for children to keep learning even at home.
